About Us
Public Good Relations was founded on our core belief that people doing good for society deserve all the benefits of positive media attention and consumer goodwill.
This is not just our job, it is our passion. We bring to each client a combination of cutting edge media and public relations skills, cause-based marketing techniques, and an ability to really connect with communities. Whether it is calling contacts at the New York Times, connecting with that perfect blogger, or enlisting the exact right partners in the non-profit world to make your event a runaway success; Public Good Relations will not rest until your story, your product, or your cause are seen by the right people to achieve your goals.
We are successful because our passion fuels us, our expertise guides us, and at the end of the day people want to contribute to good causes. Sometimes it just takes a world class communications team like ours to help them see it.
Founder/President:
After a decade of working as an international journalist with articles regularly featured in top publications within 38 countries, Public Good Relations’ founder, Lance Laytner, has become the media insider who knows exactly what it takes to transform a good idea into a great story.
But, there is an old journalist’s adage that says, “if it bleeds, it leads,” meaning that that violence and corruption sell papers. In his personal life as an active partner in several non-profit enterprises, though, Laytner came across many amazing stories that the press would be wild for, if only someone could present them in the right way.
Lance Laytner founded Public Good Relations and has dedicated himself to using his media savvy to correct that imbalance in the media, and now spends his days alerting his former colleagues in the press to the stories of people, causes, and corporations that are making a real difference.
